I look after the things people worry about when they go away. I am based in the Palisades, so I am close by and can usually help at short notice.

Pet sitting

Feeding, fresh water, litter or cage tidy-up, walks where they are needed, and proper company for dogs, cats and small animals. I follow your routine exactly — same food, same amounts, same times — and I send a photo after every visit.

• Daily visits or twice a day, depending on the animal
• Dogs let out, walked, and settled again
• Medication given to your instructions
• A message straight away if anything looks off

Babysitting

Afternoon and evening sitting for families in the neighbourhood. I keep your evening the way you keep it — homework, dinner, baths, stories, lights out — rather than inventing my own version of it.

• After school through bedtime, on weekdays or weekends
• Happy to meet you and your children beforehand
• References from neighbours available on request
• You get a text when everyone is settled

Plant & garden watering

Houseplants, pots, beds, hanging baskets and anything newly planted, watered on your schedule through holidays and heat waves — before things start to suffer rather than after.

• Indoor and outdoor watering, morning or evening
• Hoses, sprinklers or watering cans — whatever you have
• Deadheading and a tidy-up on request
• Photo of the plants so you can see they are happy

Mail & package collection

Post and deliveries brought in off the porch and out of the weather, so the house never advertises that nobody is home.

• Daily or every other day while you are away
• Parcels moved inside and out of sight
• Anything urgent photographed and sent to you

What it costs

Every job is agreed before it starts, and the estimate is free. What it costs depends on how many visits you need, how far away you are, and how much there is to do — one cat is a different job from a dog, three children and a garden. Tell me the dates and what needs doing and I will give you a straight number.

• One-off — a weekend, a holiday, or a single evening out.
• Regular — the same slots each week, which works out cheaper.
• All four at once — the most common arrangement, and the one that saves you the most.
